Sustainability: Obtaining and repairing furniture, contributing to a circular economy. We buy and rescue furniture before it is discarded, saving production resources and reducing the global ecological footprint.

Minh Nguyen's studio second love brings her vision to life, spreading the comforting feeling of coming home after a tiring day at the stale office or a long vacation. Captivated by the allure of vintage aesthetics and a deep appreciation for quality materials, she harbored a burning desire to pursue a career as a carpenter. However, her aspirations were met with resistance from her father, who held onto outdated beliefs that furniture production was solely a male domain. After detouring from working in the shipping and tech world, studio second love gives her space for creativity and purpose. The curation at studio second love evokes memories of her childhood — a refugee asylum cottage in Wendland, Northern Germany * adorned with donated interior from the mid-century modern, space age, 50s, 60s, 70s, and art deco eras. This stylistic incongruity magically brings her a sense of home.
